Best Canon EOS R3 Memory Cards

Best Canon EOS R3 Memory Cards

We’ve tested more than 20 memory cards in-camera to date for the Canon R3 to help you pick the best cards for your money. Welcome to our Canon R3 Memory Card Guide.

Learn which memory cards will give you the most shots before the buffer is full and which cards will empty the buffer the quickest.

We strongly advise using CFexpress Type B cards if you shoot frequently or in bursts and need the buffer to empty as quickly as possible.

The slower UHS-II or even UHS-I cards will probably be quick enough for you if you only take single images, but we don’t believe that many photographers are purchasing the R3 to shoot in single-shot mode.
