Sony a7III Memory Card Specifications

With a 24MP sensor, the Sony a7III is a full-frame mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera. In addition, it is priced affordably and offers excellent functionality and image quality. On my Sony a7III sample images page, you may view some of the photographs that I’ve shot with it.

There are two SD card slots on the a7III. It is not necessary to fill both slots, as the camera will function properly with only one, but there are benefits to doing so. The most obvious benefit is that you will have additional room for storing images and videos, but you can also customize how the cards are handled.

For instance, you can use them sequentially, switching from one to the next when the previous one is full. You can simultaneously record to them for a mirror backup. You can separate one file type onto one card and another onto the other. Or, you can copy from one to the other for a straightforward and practical method of creating a backup copy on-site.
