The Canon EOS M6 Mark II features an APS-C CMOS sensor with 32.5 megapixels, which, when combined with the DIGIC 8 image processing engine, enables the camera to produce high-resolution photographs even in dimly lit environments.

The Dual Pixel CMOS AF system has 5481 customizable focal points, which allows for a smooth and quick focusing performance, analogous to how a camcorder acquires focus. When taking portrait photographs, the Eye AF Servo places a greater emphasis on the subject’s eyes.

UHD 4K video recording at 30 frames per second and 3840 by 2160 resolution is available with the EOS M6 Mark II. In addition to that, it is capable of recording full high-definition video at a resolution of 1080p at a frame rate of up to 120 frames per second. The 30 fps Raw Burst mode provides a rapid shooting rate of 30 frames per second and begins pre-shooting even before the shutter button is hit.

Additional characteristics include built-in Wi-Fi connectivity with Bluetooth, a high-speed continuous shooting mode that can reach up to 14 frames per second with AF/AE tracking, and a tilting LCD touchscreen measuring 3 inches.
