Fujifilm GFX 50R Medium Format Mirrorless Camera is designed to produce high-resolution photos with an unusually broad dynamic range. The camera is equipped with a 51.4MP 43.8×32.9mm CMOS sensor as well as an X-Processor Pro image processing engine. The expansive sensitivity range of ISO 50-102400, may be increased to ISO 100-12800 for use while working in low-light environments.

Because of the inherent narrow depth of field that is created by medium format lenses, the high-precision contrast-detection AF system that employs 117 total points is used. This allows for remarkable focusing speed and accuracy, which is especially advantageous when working with medium-format lenses.

Other notable features include an electronic viewfinder with a resolution of 3.69 million dots and a magnification of 0.77x; a tilting LCD touchscreen measuring 3.2 inches; 1080/30p full-HD video recording; continuous shooting at speeds of up to 3 frames per second; film simulation modes; and built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Low Energy connectivity.
