The Best Fujifilm X-T20 Memory Cards in 2023

I actually had no issues testing memory cards in the X-T20, in contrast to the X100F. With all cards, it operated without a hitch.

The Sandisk Extreme Pro cards are the best cards, in my opinion, for the simple reasons of their dependability and efficiency. I try numerous cards in numerous cameras, and the one manufacturer that consistently gives me nearly no problems is Sandisk. I say almost because, depending on the card you used, Sandisk had some trouble operating with the Canon 1DX II and the GoPro Hero5.

In the Fujifilm X-T20, are Micro SD Memory Cards compatible?

Absolutely; I frequently use Micro SD Memory cards. But because I don’t advise them, I don’t test them in these cameras. You may get issues if the cards become loose inside the adapters. As a general rule, I don’t recommend them because it frequently happens to me with some brands or specific cases.

The SanDisk Extreme Pro 280 MB/s UHS-II SD card is the fastest SD memory card to date thanks to the new UHS-II interface. The second row of contacts on UHS-II cards allows for a 4-lane bus and a top speed of 312 MB/s. Although they will work at a slower speed, UHS-II cards are backward compatible with ordinary SD and UHS-I enabled devices. There are three storage options for the Extreme Pro UHS-II: 16, 32, and 64GB.

Who ought to think about UHS-II cards? mostly people using UHS-II devices. The Fuji X-T1 and Samsung NX1 are the only digital cameras that support UHS-II as of November 2014. (announced September 2014). For a list of recent cameras that support UHS-II, see here.

Recent Panasonic video cameras use the microP2 format, which is identical to UHS-II. You can benefit from the quick download speed that UHS-II can offer even if you don’t yet have a UHS-II camera. A UHS-II card reader linked through a USB 3.0 connection can offer actual transfer speeds of more than 200MB/s.
